Chomphunut Phuttha (Thailand) currently lives and works in her hometown. She received a bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Painting Sculpture and Graphic Arts, Silpakorn University in 2016. Although she studied painting, she doesn’t frame herself within the tradition way. She began to put an interest in performance art since she was studying in college and has developed her performance art until the present days. Chomphunut’s works were featured in exhibitionsbothinThailandandoverseas.In2017,shewasfeaturedinนิทรรศการศิลปะเพ.ือเพ.ือนมนษุย์โรฮิงญาatBangkokArtand Culture Centre (BACC), Bangkok, Thailand, and joined the performance art project in Nan Windows exhibition at Nan Riverside Gallery, Nan, Thailand, and was also featured in Tentacles TV’s Screening + Talk #3 : Traveling / Exploration at Tentacle Art Space, Bangkok, Thailand. In 2018, Chomphunut was chosen as a residence artist at Helikon Art Center, Bahcecik, Kocaeli, Turkey and joined the performance art and audience interaction in semi-public space project at 41 Burda AVM department store, Izmit, Turkey. In the same year, she was featured in Solidarity in Performance art festival in Manila, Philippines and Rebel Live Action Tour 2018, Santiniketan, East Bengal, India, and also joined blurborders International performance Art exchange and Asiatopia International Performance Art Festival at BACC, Bangkok. Furthermore, she did performance art in Head Young Artists Project in the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Khon Kaen. This year, Chomphunut was invited to join Echt Jetzt Performance Art Festival in Stuttgart, Tubingen and Reutlingen. In addition, she was one of the feauturing artist in Lip/s, a performance and video art event in Berlin, Germany. She was featured in ‘Above the clouds’ International Live Art Festival in Nanchang, Kunming, Chuxiong and Lijiang in China.
