Graciela Ovejero Postigo (Argentina/USA) is a performance and transdisciplinary artist, curator. Founder-director of Peras de Olmo – ARS CONTINUA, performance and other time and presence-based art space, also platform of Co.De./ Constelaciones Decoloniales en Arte-Acción, based in Buenos Aires. Born in Tucumán, Argentina and USA citizen. Academic credits: MFA / UCSD USA, Licenciatura en Artes / UNT AR, Dance Professor. She was a solo dancer, independent choreographer and docent (1973-1985 AR); member of Grupo Crónica (1984-85 AR); Border Arts Workshop and Las Comadres (San Diego-Tijuana 1990-93 USA-MEX); LoLas Crónicas, together with artist Magdalena Postigo (2005-2017) and others; Committee of Artistic Recommendations at Centro Cultural de La Raza in San Diego, CA (1989- 1995 USA). Participated in numerous collective engagements, individual shows, performances and major projects, since 1983 in museums, cultural centers, independent galleries and public spaces in AR, US, MX, JP, ES, PK, TH, BR, EC, CO, CL, UY, VE, DE, CA, ID, SK, HU, PH, HK. Resides mostly in Buenos Aires.
