Luo Fei: curator, artist and writer, co-initiator of Kunming Situationist International Society(KISS), lives and works in Kunming, China.
Luo Fei is mainly engaged in multimedia art practice such as field recording and performance art, he pays attention to the situational construction of daily life and personal spiritual narration in the context of global capitalism, and actively promotes the dialogue and reflection of contemporary art.
Luo Fei has been the artistic director of Kunming TCG Nordica Cultural Center, the co-curator of the third Kunming Art Biennale, the project coordinator of Lijiang Studio Foundation, and won the Kunming-Zurich Exchange Artist Scholarship in 2018. Luo Fei's personal collection of essays "To Start from Art: Essays and Interviews on Chinese Contemporary Art" was published by Shanghai Joint Publishing House in 2014.
Luo Fei's recent projects have been exhibited in the Museum of Art of Tsinghua University, gallery of Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts, gallery of Nanjing Academy of Fine Arts, gallery of Yunnan Academy of Arts, Bangkok Art and Culture Center, Uppsala Art Museum, and NKF Nordic Art Association.
