Jacquelyn Soo (Singapore) holds a Degree (Hons) Fine Art graduate from LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore. She also has a certificate in Indonesian Gamelan Music & have performed internationally with the ensemble. Her practices in conceptual art and performance art has had her exhibited and participated in artist-in-residency programmes in SouthEast Asia, America and Europe. From 2008 – 2016, she founded and was the former Chairperson of Singapore Contemporary Young Artists, a society that highlights young contemporary artists living in Singapore. In her time with SCYA, she has developed strong programmes in community art projects and curated yearly exhibitions for the society. Jacquelyn is now running her own art project; ArtStories, focusing largely on Art Education and Community Art practices, bringing out personal stories and journeys in her work. Jacquelyn represented Singapore for the 1st JakartaTriennale in November 2013 at Nasional Gallerie, Jakarta.
ジャクリーン・ソー（シンガポール）は、シンガポールのラ・サール美術大学にて学士課程終了（優等学位）。ソーは、また、インドネシアのガムラン音楽の認定証を持ち、アンサンブルで国際的に演奏活動もしている。コンセプチュアルアートとパフォーマンスアートの実践では、東南アジア、米国、ヨーロッパのアーティスト・イン・レジデンスに参加。 2008年から2016年には、シンガポールの若手現代アーティストに焦点を当てたシンガポール現代美術協会（SCYA）を設立し、理事長として活動。 SCYAでは、彼女は意義のあるコミュニティアートプロジェクトを開発し、社会貢献的な展覧会を毎年キュレーションした。 ジャクリーンは、現在、彼女自身のアートプロジェクトを中心に活動。 その一つ、ArtStoriesは、主にアート教育とコミュニティアートの実践に焦点を当てた、個人的な物語と旅に纏わるものである。ジャクリーンは、2013年11月ジャカルタのナショナルギャラリーで開催された第1回ジャカルタトリエンナーレにシンガポール代表として参加した。
